FCC Outreach Giving Supports Other Ministries

An Update on Behalf of the Outreach Team

FCC outreach ministries have been very active during these pandemic times. As previously highlighted FCC members have been active making masks and caring for so many in our communities. Next week in The Friend we will highlight the many ways our Food Ministries are reaching out to the community. This week the outreach team & staff would like to highlight some of the other ministries your gifts have helped support these past 60 days through the end of this week.

FCC outreach supported so far through offerings and gifts:
$1400 to Week of Compassion who continues their response across the US and the rest of the world as they respond to storm damage, floods, fires, and Covid-19
$6,000 to Disciples Mission Fund in support of our collaborative General Ministries of the Disciples of Christ including our missionaries
$4,000 to The Christian Church in the Southwest as they support local churches, clergy, and our collaborative ministries throughout the region like Youth, Men’s, and Women’s ministries
$600 to our Mission Partners Mark and Pauline as they continue their work through this challenging time
$800 to Disciples Crossing, our campground, as they continue to complete projects and maintain facilities with a great loss of camp revenue
$800 to Arlington Charities as they actively feed and provide for so many in our community
$600 to Arlington Life Shelter, in addition to meals and supplies continued through offerings and gifts from individuals
$500 to Jarvis Christian College in support as they continue services to their student body
